Summer Library is in full swing at Osborne Public Library, and we’ve had a fantastic start to our “Unearth a Story” adventure! As we move into July, our focus shifts to our 2nd through 5th grade participants, with plenty of fun activities, stories, and hands-on learning still to come. July is also a busy month throughout the community with the County Fair and the annual 4th of July celebration and fireworks bringing everyone together. We encourage families to enjoy all the great events happening in Osborne. We look forward to spending the rest of the summer discovering new stories and making lasting memories with our young readers! 

 

Summer Library -Our 2nd through 5th grade Summer Library participants will have a great time digging into stories, activities, and adventures as part of our “Unearth a Story” theme. These young readers will discover new books, make friends, and keep their reading skills strong while having fun in July.

 

Find it in the Stacks -Congratulations to John Anderson, our latest Find It in the Stacks winner! John successfully tracked down the hidden ticket tucked away in the library collection and claimed this month's prize. Thank you to everyone who participated, and be sure to keep searching—the next winning ticket could be waiting for you in the stacks! 

 

Break in Bags - Our Break-In Bags continue to be a popular activity with kids who love a good challenge! Participants solve a series of puzzles and clues to discover the combination that unlocks the bag and reveals the prizes inside. To keep everyone guessing, the librarian occasionally switches things up with different ways to crack the code, making each bag a unique adventure.

 

KSN Summer Road Trip - The KSN Summer Road Trip stop at Osborne Public Library was a wonderful hour filled with fun, community spirit, and plenty of smiles. Visitors enjoyed spending time with friends and neighbors while taking part in the excitement of the event. The Osborne Chamber of Commerce helped make the afternoon even sweeter by serving delicious ice cream to attendees. Thank you to KSN and the Chamber for helping create such a memorable experience for our community!
