Hello from your new director!  I would like to thank Karen for all the years of service she gave to the library.  As a patron coming to the library you knew whatever program she was having was going to be a wonderful time!  I hope to continue to grow the programs and have the same amount of fun in the library that Karen provided the community.  Please stop in the library and say hello!

 

Summer Library -We have some fun things planned for Summer Library this year.  Our new programmer Amanda Billings has been busy working on the programs. We will be having an enrollment party on May 15th from 4:30-5:30 so we can meet parents and students. Come see us and enjoy a yummy float!  We will be sending summer library enrollment forms home with Osborne Elementary students in the next few weeks.  If the enrollment form does not make it home or you need an extra please stop by the library and pick one up!

 

Summer Programs -  Mark your calendars for HOT TOAST MUSIC COMPANY on June 26 from 10:00-11:00 am and ANIMAL ADAPTATION with Flint Hills Discovery on July 17 at 8:00 am.      

Sensational Seasonings- For May, the seasoning is Maui Style Wing Rub.  Fix up some wings for the family over Memorial Day with this sensational seasoning.

 

Tea-riffic Pairings  - For the month of May, our pairing will be Women’s Fiction books with Jasmine Petal tea.  Tea leaves are scented with Jasmine Petals under very careful conditions resulting in the aromatic tea.  Sit back and relax with this tea and explore new worlds with a book.

 

What does the Kansas State Library do for OPL - The state library provides resources like ebooks, databases and learning platforms and provides resource sharing as well as training and support for staff.

 

Our hours are, M,T,W,Th - 10-6; F - 10-5; and Sat. 10-2.  The library is closed on Sundays.
